A Parked Car Destroyed Overnight

“I just parked my car in the lot. When I came back, it looked like this…”

At around 11:15 pm on 23 July 2020, in the open-air car park opposite 53–54 Chung Uk Tsuen, Lam Tsuen, Tai Po, the night was quiet. A BMW 740Li sat peacefully parked – its owner had already gone home to rest.

But on that seemingly ordinary night, a malicious attack unfolded.

A man picked up large stones and hurled them at the rear of the BMW – once, twice, three times…

The rear windscreen shattered instantly, shards of glass scattered everywhere. The rear panel was dented and deformed, both rear seat headrests were slashed by glass fragments, the third brake light was smashed, and the rear sunshade was torn apart.

When the owner returned to the car park the next morning and saw the devastation, he was almost speechless.
